NASA plans to launch at 2:17 PM. EDT on Saturday, September 3, for the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket launch of Artemis I, the first integrated test of the Orion spacecraft, the ground systems, and the rocket at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The following attempt has a two-hour launch window.

An unmanned journey around the Moon called Artemis I will prepare the way for a crewed flight test and upcoming human lunar exploration as part of Artemis.
